So...this post was inevitable....
For many of you Avengers 2 was released yesterday, so you may or may not have seen it yet. For those of you who haven't, you may not want to carry on reading this journal as there are a few spoilers that I have divulged.
SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!

I've read a lot of online reviews, and heard a few opinions from my non-comic fan friends and so far the reaction's been mixed. I'll leave a small portion of my opinion here, and I'd love to hear what your guys have to say about:
1. The Cast
My opinion - I think we all love the 'original' cast by now, and expected to see them all together the second time round. As for the newcomers (Pietro/Quicksilver & Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch , Vision) I'm still not too sure whether I like the mixture or not. I guess it's still too early to tell.
2. The Plot
My opinion - Maybe I have to see it again to fully absorb and understand exactly how Ultron makes his way into the picture during the film. They retrieve the scepter. Run tests on the gem in the lab. Discovers the AI. Goes to party. AI wakes up. Boom. Ultron.
The relationships/bromances/whatever you wanne call it between the Avengers members are tested, though not to a point of leading us down the road to Civil War as yet, which is kind of what I was looking forward to... At the end of the picture though, while Stark goes off on his own, we get a glimpse of the 'new' Avengers lineup, lead by Captain America. The Romanoff/Banner romance? No thanks.
3. Ultron
My opinion - The design? Loved it. Quite the quirky, tyrannical little robot, with a really great voice. Loved Ultron. That is all...
4. The Mjonir Scene
My opinion - Okay, i just put this one in because it was entertaining as hell, which is made even better when their fun is cut off by the high pitched screech. Enter Ultron (Mark I).
5. Your favorite Scene/ Quote
My opinion - Scene - Vision handing Thor Mjolnir, the rest of the gang look on in complete and utter astonishment... Quote - Right now it would have to be "We're fighting an army of robots, and I have a bow and arrow." - Hawkeye.
And lastly, any thoughts on future MCU films, how the story will progress from Age of Ultron leading up to Civil War, Infinity War etc...?

Looking for a writer
I've been looking for a writer for a while now and it's rough looking for someone who won't fly off the handle and write something totally off topic. IE: Writing an Ode to Frank Miller when the tone is a little more conventional and upbeat.
So looking or someone who might beable to write in the vein of prime time action/adventure shows like Buffy or the Flash.
Co-Founder/s wanted...
Guys, its been apparent that I haven't been taking care of the group as much as I should...DX So I am looking for a person or two who will take up the position as Co-Founder/s who will oversee general group activity such as gallery submissions, post about upcoming movies etc... If anyone would be interested and has a bit of experience in running a group please comment below or send me a note.
Thanks!

I liked it over all.
The Good
-Good CGI (after the opening fight scene, which was horrendous)
-Good characterization for the Avengers
-Cool fight scenes (especially Hulk vs. Tony)
-Good humor
The Bad
-Ultron was lame: I just really couldn't get behind how goofy he was. His characterization was just really all over the place and confused after his initial appearance in Avengers Tower. He really was not threatening at all. I mean, his body was destroyed at least 5 times on screen, which makes him seem more annoying than threatening. I didn't even laugh at any of his lines.
-The "cuttlefish guy". Terrible actor and annoying lines. He is actually Klaw from the comics (severed forearm and all) and is a Black Panther villain. If he's the main villain in the upcoming Black Panther, I won't be seeing it.
-CGI in opening scene.
-Vision was boring. I said it. He'll probably get blown up so Thanos can get the gem for his gauntlet.
-Speaking of Thanos, I'm actually getting pretty tired of these Infinity War teasers. We got the first one three years ago and that movie doesn't come out until 2018. That's 6 years of hyping a movie.
The Ugly
-Marvel movies are plagued by very forgettable villains. There are a few that were enjoyable or cool (like Loki, Winter Soldier. Red Skull, and Iron Monger), but there are a lot of lazy or forgettable ones, too. I found that Ronan the Accuser had very little impact as an antagonist in Guardians of the Galaxy (a movie which I really enjoyed, but Ronan just wasn't interesting. Nebula was a better villain than him, by far). Melekith in Dark World was just a cardboard cut out of a dude who wants to end all life and doesn't talk (like, at all). I can hardly remember the villain from Iron Man 3 and the Mandarin just annoyed me. Marvel is really blowing through some great villains and they're not getting a very good treatment. I don't have much incentive to read a comic about Malekith, Mandarin, or Ronan, because these movies give me nothing to cling onto. I know that these characters can't be adapted from the comics exactly (most audience members would have felt that Loki and Malekith were too similar), but it's actually hard for me sometimes to remember who the antagonists of these movies are pretty often.
-Age of Ultron, despite it's good pacing, interesting heroes, and cool cgi just sort of feels like Trailer: The Movie. One of the things that saved the original Avengers from this was that it felt like a big culmination of events, it was a sequel to four movies and established how the movies were going to flow from then on. Loki might have not been very threatening, but he was fun. There was a teaser at the end of it for Infinity War (which wasn't even the next movie that was coming out for this series, which baffles me. Why didn't they tease something with, say, Ultron?). Throughout Age of Ultron, I just kept getting teasers for future movies (Thanos appearing at the end, Thor seeing visions of Ragnarok (maybe), New Avengers assembling [My money is going on that Thanos will wipe them out and the original Avengers will reassemble to fight him]). Age of Ultron just felt in some ways like a way to tide us over until the we can get a movie with a real villain.
